Thursday, November 19 brings us a whole new weekend of local music to bathe our ears in. Start your Thursday off with a little folk from Sarah Benoit who brings her acoustic guitar to Squire Whites Pub tonight. Singer songwriter heartthrob Sam James can be found at the Banner Pub. Come feel the funk at Tammany Hall with Goosepimp Orchestra. Lisa Marie and All Shook Up are at Nick’s Bar and Sean Ryan is over at Beatnik’s. Check out some Country music on Worcester’s big stage as the Hanover Theater welcomes Miranda Lambert. And if all of these choices are too light for you, get your ass over to Ralph’s Chadwick Square Diner and feel the vibrations of Metal Thursday LXXIX with Suicide Dream, Led to the Grave, Recently Vacated Graves, True Zombie Metal and The Bathory Silence.

Jumping to Friday November 20 you won’t want to miss Guns of Navarone and their ska beats on the Beatnik’s stage. Hear songs from Hat on, Drinking Wine’s upcoming second disc when you stop by Biagio’s Grille tonight. For some rock ‘n blues check out The Dan Lawson Band who are at Gilrein’s. Fiddler’s Green welcomes Mulligan’s Fancy, a group eclectic musicians who share a common interest in Celtic and American folk music. Under Cover plays Irish Times/Rehab and Fourth Gear hop on over to Holden’s Blue Plate Lounge. Lori Brooks gives you some acoustic rock covers at Southbridge’s Mill Street Brews. At Firefly’s/Dante’s in Marlborough you’ll find not just an Allman Brothers Tribute Band, but an Allman Brothers experience (with hopefully less bickering) with Peacheaters. Straight up rock ‘n roll awaits you at Southbridge’s The Cannery with The Johnny Press Mess. And don’t dismiss the classic sounds of Seven Hills Symphony and their Fall Concert at Blais Pavilion of the Lazare Research Building of UMass Medical School, featuring a Pink Panther theme. Or if Baroque Fantasies are more your cup of tea, the Worcester Chamber Orchestra performs at St. John the Evangelist in Clinton. The Bubbleheads debut tonight at Squire Whites Pub.

Cap off your weekend live music experience with one more full night of sounds. Kick it off at The Raven Music Hall as they welcome Bovachevo, Switchblade (Brooklyn), Jam Yeti & Maar. For some Irish folk music come by Worcester Hibernian Culture Center and check out Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfe Tones. The Goddard Coffee House welcomes The Jim Porcella Quartet for an unforgettable evening of Jazz. Relive the 80s with Flock of Assholes at Irish Times/Rehab tonight. Pure punk awaits you at The Demisers, Problem with Dragons and Bloody Swimsuit at the Hotel Vernon.Turtle Boy Music Winners, Gilmour’s Breakfast make a return to Tammany Hall with their Pink Floyd tribute. The Dirty Mac Blues Band can be found at Gilrein’s. John Cate is at Vincent’s. Looking to get the most from your money tonight? How about 12 bands, 2 bars and 2 stages at Mill Street Brews in Southbridge. Featuring performances by; Our Empire Your City, Slumlord Beauty, Astronomer, Enochian, Lesions, Damsels, Surrounded By Teeth, Welcome The Tide, Necronomichrist, Halfhearted Comeback, Legions Never Die, and Hesai Yasokawas Empty Orchestra.
